I saw your web page and also your message at the Billows surname list. I

have been collecting Billows information for many years and I have been in

contact with other Billows researchers. Jimmy Billows from Lancashire,

England has been collecting all the GRO indexes for Billows and I am

eventually going to put all our data on the web for other researchers.

Your family of George Henry Hunt Billows is related to another researcher

whose family ended up on the IOW, but it seems most Billows appear to come

from Dorset, including yours.

Isaac Billows and Martha Coles married 1838 in Hartley Wintney Reg Dist of

Hampshire which includes Odiham and South Warnborough, Hampshire (Hants).. The 1851 census

indicates that Isaac was born on the Isle of Wight. Isaac's parents were

Isaac Billows Sr and Ann Andrews who married 1799 Poole Dorset. Isaac Sr was born in Spetisbury, Dorset. I will outline my notes below.
